Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital (MVH) is a 121-bed, community-based teaching hospital that has been serving the medical needs of the community and region since its founding in 1891. Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital provides inpatient, critical care and ambulatory services. The Hospital is part of Montefiore Health System, a premier academic medical center and the University Hospital system for Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is a New York State-designated Stroke Center and HIV/AIDS Center, and it is home to the Beale Chronic Wound Treatment and Hyperbaric Center and the Montefiore School of Nursing.
We are seeking outstanding Psychiatrists for faculty Attending opportunities in the inpatient treatment setting. Enjoy a predictable lifestyle with set hours of Monday-Friday 9a-5p. We provide a supportive and collegial structure to allow our faculty to deliver outstanding care. There are opportunities for teaching and supervision of Albert Einstein College of Medicine medical students and Montefiore Medical Center house staff, as well as opportunities and collaboration in research.
Interested candidates should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry and have the ability to obtain a NY State Medical License.
In addition to a competitive salary of $275,000-300,000, we offer the opportunity to for additional income by moonlighting and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b), 457 and paid CME are also offered.
